They picked us up right at the gate from the dock, drove us to the dive area with friendly chatting and information as we went. The boat ride is short, the reef is in pristine shape, the guides find lots of little - and big - marine life. Surface interval is on land at the cutest island stop. Nick W2022-01-06Excellent My family and I were on a Carnival Cruise that stopped in Roatan, we had never been but heard some chatter about how great the diving was. My dad and I are both certified, but my girlfriend and little brother were not. We found Key Divers on Facebook I believe and message Dewey. He instantly got back to us, unlike the other 10 places we messaged. We told him our situation and he said he had a place the non-certified divers could hang out while we dove. This spot ended up being little/big French Key. My little brother and girlfriend got to snorkel, swim and eat/drink whatever they wanted while my dad and I got to experience the most beautiful dive either of us have ever done (Mary's Place - I believe this is what is was called). All in all, Dewey and his first mate were amazing. They were friendly, informative, and really knew what they were doing; diving, boating, etc... Overall a 12/10 experience and would absolutely recommend Key Divers to anyone. Thanks Dewey and (Cant remember the other mans name), we'll remember this trip forever.Verified

THE SURFACE
Located in the heart of Central America, about 65 kilometers (40 miles) off the northern coast of Honduras, our island is surrounded by the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea and has so much to offer!
Roatan was formed as part of the Bonacca Ridge, a vast underwater mountain range, and is surrounded by the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the largest barrier reef in the Caribbean Sea (second largest worldwide after Australia's Great Barrier Reef). The peaks running along the entire island allow for breathtaking views of the surrounding reef which is SO vibrant and full of life that many people who visit Roatan wish they never had to leave.
Not to mention that being part of the second largest barrier reef in the world has its perks! We have sheer walls of beautiful coral, swim-throughs, reefs teeming with life and sand patches for finding the little critters that make you go ̈Wow! ̈
